Activities/Clubs
Below are the clubs and after school activities available for students.
Information and applications for activities are available in the office.
Art Club - Art Club is open to students in grades Kindergarten through 5th Grade. These visual art classes will be held on Thursday afternoons from 2:45-3:30. Class sizes will be limited. Classes will be filled on a first come, first served basis. Classes will be offered based on grade level and will meet in Mrs. Steere’s room in the primary building.
Bear Foot Dancin' - Bear Foot Dancin' is an after school dance class that meets on Tuesday afternoons from 2:45-3:30. This class is open to students in grades Kindergarten through 5th Grade. The class meets in the auditorium. Students will learn various dances. Students will have the opportunity to perform in the community. Classes will be offered based on grade level.
Club Espanol - Club Espanol is open to students in the 2nd through 5th Grade. The club will meet on Tuesday afternoons from 2:45-3:30 in Mrs. Halpin's room. This club will give students an opportunity to explore the Spanish and Hispanic Cultures through language, customs, music and crafts. There will be a $5.00 fee (cash or checks made payable to Stoneville Elementary School) for this club. Accommodations will be made for students with a financial need who wish to participate.
Go Far Running Club - The Go Far Running Club is open to students in grades Kindergarten through 5th Grade. Students will train for participation in a marathon. There is a fee for this club which covers the cost of a T-shirt and the marathon registration fee.
Lunch on the Lawn
We will be auditioning performers for the Stoneville Elementary School Lunch On The Lawn. We are looking for students who have outstanding talents to share with our audience. If you would like to audition for Lunch On The Lawn, please sign up with Mrs. Halpin during your music class time.
Musical Bearings Chorus
The chorus is open to students in the 3rd, 4th and 5th grades.
Bearobics
Students will receive exercise and fitness training with Mrs. Spencer.
